In August, Arizona children prepare to head back to school. Part of the preparation is shopping for school supplies...something that most of us took for granted. For the over 12,000 homeless children attending schools in Maricopa County, there is simply no money for school supplies.

Just $25 dollars guarantees a child a new backpack stuffed with school supplies including; paper, pens, pencils, folders, notebooks, and more. In addition, each child will receive much needed personal care items such as toothpaste, a toothbrush, deodorant, and new socks and underwear.

For $500 you can sponsor backpacks and school supplies for an entire class, for $1000 a whole grade level, or for $5000 you can sponsor an entire school.
